Healthylife provides the following in prescription medication.
This medication is typically taken twice daily, usually in the morning and the evening. The typical dose is 250mg, which may be increased to, or increased daily by, 100mg, depending on the intended effect. Generally, treatment of fungal skin infections can be completed as soon as possible after the symptoms of the fungi have subsided. If treatment is ongoing, the dose may be increased to 250mg. The dosage is determined by your skin condition and your local health authorities. For topical applications, typically applied once daily to the affected area.
Symptoms of overdose may include seizures, headache, or blurred vision. If you suspect that you have taken too much of this medication, contact your health professional. It is not known if this medication is linked to your case. Lamisil Cream is used to treat fungal infections of the skin including the following tinea infections:• Athlete’s foot - between the toes• Jock itch - groin and inner thigh area• Ringworm - commonly affects arms, legs, trunk or neck• Moccasin-type tinea - sole of the footLamisil Cream can also be used to treat skin infections caused by Candida, a type of yeast.
Active Ingredients
Contains benzyl alcohol as a preservative. Also contains cetyl alcohol and stearyl alcohol. Terbinafine Hydrochloride 10mg/g, sorbitan monostearate, cetyl palmitate, cetyl alcohol, stearyl alcohol, polysorbate 60, isopropyl myristate, sodium hydroxide, purified water, benzyl alcohol. Terbinafine Hydrochloride 10mg/g.
Instructions & Dosage
-Apply Lamisil Cream once daily. You should apply Lamisil Cream only to the skin on the outside of the body. 1. Clean and dry the affected area. 2. Apply a thin layer of Lamisil Cream to the affected skin and surrounding area. 3. Rub in gently. 4. Wash your hands after touching the infected skin so that you do not spread the infection.

The active ingredient of Lamisil is Terbinafine, which is an anti-fungal agent. This antifungal cream is specifically formulated for the treatment of Athlete’s Foot, and is uniquely formulated for the treatment of the fungal infection affecting the fungal skin (generic Lamisil AT is a broad spectrum antifungal agent). Lamisil AT works by stopping the growth of the fungus, by preventing the removal of the fungi from the fungal cell membranes. This will allow the affected areas to heal and prevent further infection. If not treated, the infection will become serious and may require hospitalisation. LAMISIL AT should only be used by those actively trying to become an athlete. It is not recommended for use in those under 18 years of age. The expiry date on the packaging is the last day of the specific athlete’s list.

Do not use on irritated or sensitive skin, or on the face or lips. Avoid contact with the infected areas on broken or irritated skin. Long-term use may increase the risk of fungal infections of the blood, urine, joints and scalp. Inform your doctor of any side effects you may experience. LAMISIL AT should be used with caution in patients with a hypersensitivity to terbinafine or any other component of the drug. Lamisil AT may decrease the effectiveness of terbinafine hydrochloride tablets. The tablets may be less effective if the cream is used for longer periods. Use only as prescribed by your doctor. Avoid contact with the infected areas of the treated feet and hands. Avoid rubbing the cream. Warned with this medicine as per instructions for use on the feet, or toes. If you do not understand the instructions on the box, ask your doctor or pharmacist.
